The Visual Identity
Last updated | 21/03/2011
The visual identity is composed of a mixture of type and symbols. The typeface is based on Albert which is a modern interpretation of an older typeface.
The visual identity's curving lines evoke rivers, hills and natural beauty. The crown refers to the area's ancient and continuing links with royalty. The heart refers to the luckenbooth symbol popularised by Mary Queen of Scots and her connections with Kinross.
All of these elements are the foundation on which we can construct new and attractive stories about modern Perthshire.
