Local Events

There is a whole range of events taking place throughout Perth & Kinross where local produce can be found. During the summer months there is a Farmer's or Country Market taking place each weekend. Agricultural shows and Highland Gatherings also take place throughout the summer where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of Scottish Heritage and browse various stalls.

The Scottish Game Fair takes place at the beginning of July each year. A three day event with trade stands, competitions, displays and demonstrations

Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair . Not just for the horsey set, this event has plenty to offer besides equestrian action. Taking place at the end of August, a shopping village offers a vast array of stands and a food hall.

If Iron Age cooking is for you then try a food event at the Scottish Crannog (a reconstructed Iron Age home) near Kenmore. From The Crannog Creperie to Bread and Butter making, as well as their own annual Food & Drink Festivals, there is something for everyone.

Look out also for events run by local businesses.  Further information on these and other local events can be found here.
