As a Council we are working closely with our partners in the Police, Health and Voluntary Sectors to ensure that children and young people get the help when they need it, and that Child Protection is everyone's responsibility.  Our Child Protection Committee contributes to promoting the care and welfare of children in this area by aiming to ensure that children are safeguarded and protected by working together.

Our Child Protection web pages contain lots of useful information about child protection for everyone, including frequently asked questions and information on what to do if you have concerns about a child or young person.   There are specific pages for children and young people, parents and carers and workers (including a learning and development zone).
