This page has lots of information for children and young people about how to keep safe. There are lots of useful links below for you to read. Feel safe
All children have the right to be kept safe from harm. If you are worried about something, and not sure what to do, there are lots of people who can help. You could talk to someone in your family who you trust, or to a teacher, a social worker, the Police, or you could call Childline on 0800 11 11.
There are various things that we can all do to help you. We can listen to you, and give you information on how to deal with your concern.
In some cases, if it is right for your own situation, we can take these steps: we can carry out a Child Protection Investigation [pdf 346KB], hold a Child Protection Conference [pdf 449KB] or hold a Children's Hearing.
The most important thing is, if you are worried about something and don’t feel safe, please tell someone who can help you.
Be safe – quiz
Here is a quiz that gives some information that can help keep you safe. It’s easy to do, quick and hopefully useful to you – have a go!
