Inter-Agency Child Protection Training

In this part of the child protection website, the Perth and Kinross Child Protection Committee has provided information and advice, about our approach and commitment to Inter-Agency Child Protection Training.

Overseen by the Perth and Kinross Child Protection Committee Training Sub Group, we have developed and published a range of key child protection training documents:-

Perth and Kinross CPC Key Child Protection Training Documents

  1. Perth and Kinross CPC Inter-Agency Child Protection Training Programme and Education and Children's Services Child Protection Training Programme: 01/04/12 - 31/03/13 [pdf: 132KB], which highlights our collective approach and commitment to child protection training and staff development for all practitioners and managers across the public, private and third sectors across Perth and Kinross.

  2. Perth and Kinross CPC Inter-Agency Child Protection Training Strategy 2012-2015 [pdf: 100KB], which describes, in some detail, our individual, collective and strategic approach to inter-agency child protection training.  This is an over-arching strategic framework supported by the following documents.

  3. Perth and Kinross CPC Inter-Agency Child Protection Training Needs Analysis 2012 [pdf: 93KB], which has identified our individual and collective child protection training needs, for the current year.

  4. Perth and Kinross CPC Inter-Agency Child Protection Training Programme - Protocol for the Allocation of Places [pdf: 53KB], which describes how we will allocate places on courses to ensure they remain inter-agency based and provided free of charge to those taking part.

Applications for Child Protection Courses

Staff within the Training and Development Unit at Perth and Kinross Council, Education and Children's Services currently support the Perth and Kinross CPC Inter-Agency Child Protection Training Courses.
