Welcome to our Learning and Development Zone.
We will be using this space to give workers access to up to date
research articles, links, publications and learning and teaching
materials related to Child Protection. If you know of
any information or materials that you think should be on

Child Protection Training Course
Child Protection is a key priority for Perth & Kinross
Council. Keeping Child Protection at the forefront of
everyone's mind is crucial. An updated elearning package for
all staff has been developed providing information on:
- understanding the definitions and signs of child abuse
- the myths surrounding child abuse
- the Child Protection Reform Programme
- your responsibilities in relation to child protection
Accessing the training course
The Child Protection Training Course [SWF:
976Kb] will take about 20 minutes to complete.
The course requires Flash Player to be installed on your web
browser. You can download the Flash Player from the
Adobe website.
Please note that you will not be able to access the links contained
within the package, however all documentation linked within the
course can be found on the
Information for Practitioners page.
