Youth Justice
The Youth Justice Partnership is a multi-agency
body which oversees the development and implementation of policy
and good practice in the field of youth justice.
The approach of the Partnership has been
informed by the belief that reduction in youth crime should be
pursued by a combination of prevention, diversion and early
intervention with young people who are at risk of offending or have
become involved in offending, or antisocial behaviour.
The overall aim of the Partnership is to
enhance young people's lives, thereby improving community safety.
The Partnership will achieve this through the promotion of
social inclusion and working closely with young people, their
families and communities affected by offending or antisocial
behaviour.
