Employability Network

"Integrated services and social enterprise; helping people with additional challenges into jobs, volunteering and skills development"

The Employability Network comprises a wide range of public and voluntary sector partners. It was set up to deliver improved, intensive and individualised employability services to help more people with additional challenges into paid work, volunteering positions, further education and vocational skills training. The specific purpose of the Development Plan is to help people farthest from the job market to improve their employability.

The target group will most likely have been in contact with services for mental health, learning disability, physical disability, substance misuse, offending behaviour, young people leaving care or homelessness. Provision is also made for carers who need assistance to return to work.

The members are a wide range of local partners who provide employability services or manage a social enterprise.
