What do we offer?
The support and activities we offer are flexible and can change
and develop over time, depending on what people would benefit from
and tell us they would like to do.
Examples of support:
- support with mental health concerns
- encourage self help of mental health problems by providing
information and assisting with self help material and coping
strategies
- working towards improving personal wellbeing
- individual and group support and activities
- help to join community activities of your choice
- learn relaxation or how to boost your confidence
- help to increase your employment, training or volunteering
prospects
- support to improve skills like form filling or
budgeting
- learn new skills and crafts
In talking to, and getting to know you, we will discuss what
support would suit you and help you to do the things you want to
do. Some people get involved in group activities, others have
individual support, it all depends on the discussions we have with
you and what you tell us and decide.
Want to come along?
If you think our support might be for you, please make
enquiries. We are always happy for people to contact us and arrange
a relaxed and informal visit to see and discuss what we do.
The service always respects your confidentiality and choices you
make.
You can also ask any of the following to do it for you:
- a friend or relative
- your doctor (GP)
- health visitor
- independent advocate
- community mental health nurse
