Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre
Perth Concert Hall is a creative project designed to help transform Perth into one of Europe's most successful and dynamic small cities by 2010.
Opened in September 2005, Perth Concert Hall is designed to host concerts, conferences and community activity. At its heart is a 1600 capacity auditorium offering several flexible staging configurations. It also houses a café bar, tourist information centre and a series of spaces geared to attract concerts, conferences, corporate events, exhibitions, training events, civic and community activities.
The Concert Hall is located at Horsecross, within a short walking distance of Perth Theatre, Perth Museum and Art Gallery, the River Tay and a growing array of restaurants, bars and galleries.
Theatre lovers can enjoy a variety of performances in the opulent auditorium of Perth Theatre - which first opened its doors in 1900 - or at Pitlochry's Festival Theatre, the delightful theatre in the hills. Both attract visitors back year after year.
