Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrates the
250th anniversary of
Robert Burns' birth with a
year-long programme of events across the country
. We're also celebrating some of Scotland's great contributions to the world:
golf, whisky, great minds and innovations and Scotland's rich culture and heritage
A spectacular calendar of events will mark Scotland's first ever Homecoming year. So, whether you're a Scot, of Scottish descent, or simply love Scotland, you're invited!
There are several events happening within Perth and Kinross during the Homecoming Year. The events that have been given support by Homecoming Scotland are found on the links to the right of the page.
If you are an event organiser you may be eligible to badge your event as a Homecoming Event and thus benefit from inclusion in the marketing being done nationally and Internationally by the Homecoming Scotland team. Please get in touch if you would like your event to become part of the Homecoming Year in 2009.
