Perth A Place in History - Conference
As part of the Perth 800 celebrations, this two-day conference will take place in Perth Concert Hall on the 10 - 11 September 2010. The conference will include presentations on the history and development of the city through the ages.
This important and unique conference will include presentations on the archaeology and history of Perth, from its earliest settlement to its recent past, and a glimpse into its possible future. Eminent historians Professor Archibald Duncan and Professor Tom Smout will chair the sessions, with distinguished speakers recruited from near and far to share their insights into various aspects of Perth’s history.
