Parking for those with disabilities

Dedicated bays for Blue Badge holders are provided in many locations both on-street and in car parks. In addition vehicles displaying a Blue Badge can be parked in any Council parking bay, either on-street or in a car park, without limit of time and free of charge.

Disabled parking in the Perth pedestriansised zone

Blue Badge bays are provided within the pedestrianised zone in central Perth but as this is a special concession the national conditions do not apply. The Blue Badge must be displayed whilst driving in the zone and there is a maximum stay of three hours in a bay. Between 4pm and 11am a vehicle with a  Blue Badge may be parked anywhere in the pedestrianised zone for up to one hour.

Shopmobility

Perth Shopmobility operates from the Canal Street multi storey car park in the centre of town. Electric buggies and wheelchairs are available for anyone with a mobility problem, not only Blue Badge holders.
