Loch Leven Heritage Trail Bus Service
Take the Bus for a Walk!
Service 203, is operated by Stagecoach Fife on behalf of Perth
& Kinross Council. It runs around Loch Leven, every
Sunday, linking key entrances to the Loch Leven Heritage
Trail. As from September 2010, it now also serves Lochend
Farm Shop and Findatie Coffee Shop.
As well as single fare tickets, a Sunday Stroller ticket is
available to buy on the bus costing £1.50 for adults, 75p for
children and £3.00 for a family ticket. This ticket
allows passengers to hop on and off the bus as often as they wish
on the Sunday they buy the ticket. This means, for example, you
could walk to Burleigh Sands from Kinross and then catch the bus to
Loch Leven's Larder, walk to Vane Farm and then return to Kinross
by bus, all on one ticket!
Service 203 complements existing public transport links to the
Heritage Trail which are subsidised by the Council:
Stagecoach Fife Service 201 travels between Scotlandwell and
Kinross via Kinnesswood daily except Sundays, and Stagecoach Fife
Service 204 which runs between Kinross and Vane Farm via
Gairneybridge on Wednesdays and Saturdays only.
A full timetable for Service 203 is available opposite, along
with further information about the Loch Leven Heritage Trail.
Timetable leaflets are also available on the bus itself, and at
several local outlets around Loch Leven.
