Take The Bus For a Walk

Take the Bus for a Walk is a new free 22-page guide detailing eight superb combinations of walks and bus journeys throughout Perthshire. Each walk is graded and the guide contains full route descriptions, outline maps and recommended bus times to fit conveniently with the walks. The guide will be a boon to locals and visitors alike.
Each walk is waymarked. The routes have been 'proven' by the council's countryside rangers. So, while maps are fascinating and will provide additional information, map-reading skills are not necessary to enjoy these walks.
Funding and support for the project has come from Perth & Kinross Countryside Trust.
The Take the Bus for A Walk [PDF 8.0MB] guide is valid until the end of the March 2009 and is available at any Perthshire Tourist Information Centre, from local libraries, or by calling 01738 450600.
