Great Days Out by Public Transport
Exploring Perthshire and the surrounding area by public transport is now easier than ever.
VisitScotland
and Perth & Kinross Council have teamed up to produce a comprehensive 30-page guide packed with exciting ideas for days out using the bus or train.
Designed to appeal to both locals and visitors, the guide covers day trip options from Aberfeldy, Auchterarder, Blairgowrie, Crieff, Dunkeld, Kinross, Perth and Pitlochry. Convenient timetable options are clearly presented and there are also details of twenty special money-saving offers especially for public transport users. Passengers simply have to present the leaflet and their current travel ticket to take advantage of reduced admission charges at selected visitor attractions or enjoy a reduction on their lunch bill at participating hotels.
The Great Days Out by Public Transport [PDF 9.5MB]
guide is valid until the end of the year and is available at any Perthshire Tourist Information Centre, from local libraries, Council offices and bus operators, or by calling 01738 450600.
