Safety Cameras
Perth and Kinross is one of the partner Councils and agencies that make up the Tayside Safety Camera Partnership. Cameras are deployed at sites which will have the greatest influence in reducing speed-related road accidents, and so contribute towards the Government's casualty reduction targets for 2010. Mobile safety cameras operate at nine locations within the Council area. There are currently no fixed camera sites on the local road network in Perth and Kinross. Routes currently subject to enforcement activity by the Camera Partnership include:
- A91 Milnathort to Devon Bridge
- A93 Perth to Guildtown
- A93 Guildtown to Blairgowrie
- A94 Scone to Coupar Angus
- A822 Crieff to Muthill
- A923 Blairgowrie to Coupar Angus
- A923 Coupar Angus to Dundee
- A977 Kinross to Drum
- B996 Kinross to Kelty
