Flooding - advice and support
If you are concerned that your property may be at risk of
flooding in future you can take steps to ensure that you are
prepared.
SEPA provides a Floodline service - a 24-hour telephone
information line which relays recorded messages providing
up-to-date information about flood alerts that are in force in
Scotland. Trained operators are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week, to provide practical advice on flood risk and what to do
before, during and after a flood. Floodline can be contacted on
0845 988 1188.
Floodline can also provide flooding alerts direct to your mobile
phone when they are issued. Please visit http://www.floodlinescotland.org.uk/
to sign up for this service.
You can also view up-to-date information on severe weather warnings
at the Met Office website http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/.

property is at risk of future flooding is available from the
