Gritted roads map (category 1)

Category 1 roads have been divided into two groups (1a and 1b)
with the most important roads in Category 1a. Normally
gritters will treat Category 1a and 1b roads at the same time, but
in severe snow conditions priority will be given to the Category 1a
roads. This may mean that gritters will not be available for
some Category 1b roads for some time.
The map shows the Category 1a and Category 1b roads.
You can move around the map by zooming in / out or clicking on
the map and moving your mouse.
(There are changes to the routes in the Kinloch Rannoch area
while a section of B846 Kinloch Rannoch to Tummel Bridge road is
closed for Scottish Water works. Details are available in the
