It is essential that you get the relevant permit before carrying out works affecting any roads (carriageway, footway or verge) within Perth & Kinross.

Road Opening permit is required to place or maintain Apparatus in, under or adjacent a Public Road or to execute works in a Road (including verge)

Road Construction Consent Under the terms of Section 21 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 anyone who wishes to construct a new Road or extend an existing Road must obtain Construction Consent from the Local Roads Authority.
The proposed new Road should have Planning Consent before being granted Road Construction Consent,
