Almost anyone can ride a bike and if you can't help is available. Try Cycling Tayside a project set up by CTC Scotland can offer help and advice to anyone who would like to become more confident on a bike. Contact Try Cycling Tayside on

Cycling training in schools is currently provided by Tayside Police. Contact the Road Safety Officer for further information 01738 621141 or at

Cycling is ideal for all ages. It requires little in the way of expensive equipment, and it is sociable, healthy and can give you a level of fitness of someone 10 years younger.
Perth & Kinross Council are also always on the look out for anyone who would like to train as a volunteer cycle ride leader to help out with rides and events to promote cycling. For further information e-mail us at
