Special uplifts for bulky items
The Council provides householders with a chargeable bulky uplift service that allows for up to 5 bulky items to be collected from the kerbside (per uplift). Alternatively, you can dispose of your items at your local Recycling Centre free of charge.

If you have such items, there is an option for officers to undertake an assessment of the type and volume of the materials, and provide a no-obligations quote for an uplift.
When do I have to place the items out?
Items require to be out on the kerbside for collection by 7:45am. Use the bin dates postcode finder to check your uplift day.
How much will it cost and how do I pay?
The cost is from £30.00 (non-refundable) and is applied for the collection of up to 5 bulky items, in one uplift, from the kerbside. Additional items, or items not presented to the kerbside may incur an additional charge.

- Payment by cheque/postal order (made payable to Perth & Kinross Council and sent to The Environment Service, Perth & Kinross Council, Pullar House, 35 Kinnoull Street, Perth, PH1 5GD)
Payment must be received by 3pm the day before the collection date.

Have you considered donating your items for reuse?
Please consider donating reusable items to local Charity Shops or Reuse projects or passing on your item by advertising it in a local shop or local paper or through an Online Exchange Network such as Freecycle or Freegle. Alternatively pass on items through the Re-use Line.
