A93 resurfacing works to require overnight road closures

Perth & Kinross Council would like to advise that carriageway resurfacing works on the A93 heading towards Glenshee are scheduled to last for approximately three weeks.

The works have been split into two phases and will require an overnight road closure Monday to Friday, 8pm to 6am. The road will be open as normal to traffic on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights during the period of the works.

The first phase is currently underway and runs until Friday 16 June, covering the A93 at Lair Brae, north of both the pottery and the junction with the B951.

The second phase will run from Monday 19 to Friday 30 June and cover the section north of the Spittal of Glenshee at Rhiedorrach.

During the overnight closure, the diversion route for vehicles will be via the A93, A926, A90, A92, A957 and back onto the A93.

Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. Local residents, businesses and elected members have already been notified of the works.

The Council regrets any inconvenience the closures may cause.
