Programme of work for next two weeks (RTTP)

 

Gabion walling work has started on the B847 between Trinafour and Calvine from 9th November and is being carried out using temporary traffic lights to control traffic. The traffic lights may be on stop in both directions from time to time to allow plant and materials to be moved on site and may result in delays of up to ten minutes for road users.  Please allow yourself this additional time when you plan your journey when travelling over this section of road. Carriageway edge strengthening and widening works on this section of the B847 is programmed to start on 20th November and will involve a road closure Monday to Friday between 9am and 3.30pm with a signed diversion route in place. This work is programmed to last until 9th February 2018 and Tayside Contracts will carry out the work.

Gabion walling construction work has been completed on the B846 road between Kinloch Rannoch and Bridge of Gaur.

Carriageway edge strengthening and widening work started on Monday 23rd October on the B846 between the Balmore junction and Kinloch Rannoch. This work will not require a road closure and traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic lights and stop / go traffic control. The work is programmed to last until 17th November and the contractor carrying out the work is Tayside Contracts.

Carriageway edge strengthening and widening work started on 6th November between Kinloch Rannoch and Liarn Farm on the B846 with T & L Gilmartin carrying out the work. A road closure will be in operation for the duration of these works between 9am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday with a signed diversion route in place via the South Loch Rannoch road. These works are programmed to last until 22nd December and in addition to the signed diversion route we will have site personnel who have a knowledge of the local roads and properties manning each end of the road closure to advise road users of how far along the site local access can be maintained.If you require any more detailed information on these works please call the contacts listed below.

Some preparatory passing place work has been carried out on the B846 section between the Bridge of Gaur road junction and Rannoch Station over the past two weeks ahead of the main carriageway resurfacing work which is programmed to start on 27th November.
