Programme of work for next two weeks (RTTP)

Carriageway edge widening and passing place construction work continues on the B847 between Trinafour and Calvine and is being carried out under a road closure between the hours of 9am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday with a signed diversion route in place.  The road closure part of the work is programmed to last until 28th March 2018 with Tayside Contracts carrying out the work. The extension to the original planned date of 23rd March for the completion of the road closure traffic management has been required due to delays caused over the past two weeks by breakdowns at the quarries who supply our material. Perth and Kinross Council regrets this additional length of time that the road closure will be in place however the resurfacing work being completed will not allow us to use temporary traffic lights to control traffic due to the size of the plant being used to carry out this work.

Carriageway edge strengthening and widening work has been completed between Bridge of Gaur and Liarn Farm on the B846 with Lightways Contractors carrying out the work.

A short section of the C450 South Loch Rannoch road between the B846 junction and the river Gaur bridge will be closed for resurfacing work between 9am and 3.30pm from Monday 26th March 2018 through to Wednesday 28th March 2018 with King Contractors carrying out the work.

The installation of signage at passing place locations along with the installation of vergemaster marker posts will continue on the B846 and B847 roads for the rest of the month but this work will not involve any road closures.
