Make your voice heard at the Tenant Conference 2018

All Perth & Kinross Council housing tenants are invited to attend their annual Tenant Conference 2018 on Wednesday, 27 June 2018.

The event will be held at the Salutation Hotel, Perth, between 6pm-8.30pm.

Tenants will be given feedback on the results of our recent Tenant Satisfaction and Rent Setting Surveys, and 'Conversation Café' sessions will be held with housing managers where you can discuss:

  • What services are priorities for you and what you think your rent money should be spent on
  • What more we can do to support tenants to sustain their tenancies, particularly for those who live in rural locations
  • How we can improve the Tenant Conference and reach out to more tenants across Perth and Kinross

There will also be an opportunity to meet the Tenant and Resident Participation Worker for your neighbourhood.

Children's activities will be available to keep little ones entertained, and we'll provide refreshments. Every tenant who attends will be entered into a free draw to win High Street shopping vouchers.

Housing and Communities Convener Councillor Peter Barrett said: "Tenants have a vital role to play in helping shape the services we provide for them and their opinions are very important to us. The Tenant Conference is a chance for tenants to have a positive input into the way their local housing services are run and how we invest the money we receive from their rents.

"This is a great opportunity for people to find out more about the services and support available in their local community, and to meet new friends. I would urge all tenants to come along and get involved in the conversation about their housing and neighbourhoods."
