We carry out air quality monitoring and are required to prepare an annual report which reflects our findings.
Air quality monitoring is carried out to determine whether we are likely to meet the air quality objectives for specific pollutants, within Perth & Kinross. If an objective for a pollutant is exceeded or likely to be exceeded we must declare an Air Quality Management Area.
Air Quality Management areas declared in Perth and Kinross
- Perth City was declared an Air Quality Management Area in May 2006. View the Air Quality Managment Area Map (PDF) [2MB] . Crieff Air Quality Action Plan
A public consultation on the draft Crieff Air Quality Action Plan concluded on 18 February 2019, and the results from this have recently been uploaded to PKC's Consultation Hub.
