|Agency Brief:||Churches Action for the Homeless (CATH) is a local charity which supports, encourages and promotes the development and delivery of projects to relieve homelessness and poor housing, improve the conditions of life and generally aid the development of persons who are homeless in the Perth and Kinross Council area.|

|Programmes Offered@||Employability Skills training to enable homeless people and others who are disadvantage in the workplace to develop practical, social and life skills to enable them move on to further training, education or employment. Numeracy and literacy courses are core subjects in these programmes.|
|Eligibility:||Individuals faced with homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, offending behaviour|
|Referral:||Self referral, Perth & Kinross Council, GP or Consultant Social Work, community Nurse, Support Worker, Employment agencies such as JCP, SDS.|
|Outcome:||Further Training, Education, Employment|
Stage 1 Referral/Engagement Activity - Examples of this is early engagement activity, identification of client need and development of an action plan.
Stage 2 Barrier Removal - Examples of this is barrier removal activities and confidence building, support to develop core skills such as numeracy and literacy, holistic activities linked to individual needs and employability skills.
Stage 3 Vocational Activity - Examples of this may include job search, work experience, employability skills and accredited pre-employment training for core skills
