Programmes Offered

Activity Agreement - An individual programme developed between a young person (16-19) and a trusted professional (Next Step Coach)

Stage 1 - Referral, Engagement and Assessment

Young people are identified through a number of outreach activities and self-referrals, once a young person has been identified they will be assessed to clarify their needs, through this process the trusted professional and the young person will develop a personalised action plan. Once this has been completed and it is felt that an Activity Agreement is appropriate then the paper work can be completed and submitted to @Scott Street.

Stage 2 - Barrier Removal

1:1's - @Scott Street offers an array of 1:1 support and guidance for young people who have been identified as suitable for an Activity Agreement. The Young person and their trusted professional will create a timetable which at this stage will see a range of partners agreeing key activities to be undertaken.

LINC Group - Consists of a small group of up to 10 young people who are engaging in an Activity Agreement and are ready to work as part of a group. They will participate in a timetable of activities delivered by a number of partners across different agencies. It is designed to help Young People become closer to the labour market and move up the employability pipeline.

EligibilityYoung People aged 16-19 who are currently not in education, employment or training. (NEET)
ReferralWe receive referrals through "request for support" to services for young people.
OutcomeSustainable positive destination.
ProgressionYoung People can be expected to move into destinations such as employability fund, volunteering, paid employment, further training opportunities and further education.

Stages Covered

Stage 1 Referral/Engagement Activity-Examples of this is early engagement activity, identification of client need and development of an action plan.

Stage 2 Barrier Removal-Examples of this is barrier removal activities and confidence building, support to develop core skills such as numeracy and literacy, holistic activities linked to individual needs and employability skills.
