ENABLE Works are one of Scotland's leading specialist employment
support organisations, delivering employability services to individuals with complex barriers, right across Scotland.


ENABLE Works are industry experts in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, learning disabilities, autism and mental health barriers, and we deliver services across the 5 stages of the Strategic Skills Pipeline.


We are advocates of Supported Employment, delivering tailored and holistic services to every individual we support.

Target Client Group

Age: 16+

Target Group: Unemployed individuals facing complex barriers to
employment - specific target groups include: Individuals with learning disabilities; individuals with learning difficulties; neurodivergent individuals; individuals with autism; individual

Programmes Offered

Employability Fund: Stage 2:

10 week online employability course held
over Zoom.  Course consists of up to 10 x individuals.  Sessions are held two days per week for the duration of course.  All learners will work towards / achieve a PDA Level 3 in Employment Slills.  Course focuses on the soft skills of employment, namely confidence building, motivation, team work and communication, etc.


Employability Fund: Stage 3:

10 week online employability course held
over Zoom.  Course consists of up to 10 x individuals.  Sessions are held two days per week for the duration of course.  All learners will work towards / achieve a PDA Level 4 in Employment Slills.  Course focuses on the hard skills of employability, namely CV development, Interview
Skills, Job Applications, Employer Expectations etc.

EligibilityTo be eligible for our group you must not be in education, you must not be in employment of 16 hours+ per week and you cannot be on alternative Employability Provision.
Referral

Self Referrals / Third Party Referrals are welcomed, by contacting the
named contacts listed here.


If an individual is working with Skills Development Scotland, then
referral should come through their Careers Advisor


If an individual has a live claim to benefits, then referral should be from
DWP.

Outcome

All Learners will achieve a Level 3 or Level 4 Personal Development
Award (PDA) in Employment Skills.
