Perth welcomes artists from across the globe

The City of Perth is in for a treat on the weekend of 17-18 August with the International Youth Band Festival and 'The City of Perth Salute' showcasing musical talent from around the globe.

Party at the Park on track for Perth in 2020

The organisers of one of Scotland's largest music festivals are looking to bring their award winning family friendly event to Perth in 2020. Plans are shaping up to bring Party at The Park to the Lesser South Inch on the weekend of 27th and 28th June. The organisers of the event already run the popular Party at The Palace event in Linlithgow, which has been a feature of the festival scene since it began in 2014.

Equality groups gifted free tickets to the Solheim Cup

The biggest event in women's golf, the Solheim Cup is coming to Gleneagles from 9 to 15 September 2019. To celebrate the ethos of the family-centred event a number of local equality groups received an allocation of free tickets to see the event live.

Council donates unearthed school crisp bag cache to recycling in aid of Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance

Hundreds of empty crisp bags discovered during renovation work at Perth High School are to be recycled to help raise funds for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA).

Pitlochry public toilets to trial extended opening hours

Perth & Kinross Council is currently trialling an extended opening hours arrangement for public toilet provision in Pitlochry, following ongoing discussions with local Councillors and transport providers.
