Coronavirus: Parking, blue badge scheme and penalty charge notices
From Monday 23rd March 2020 all parking charges have been suspended in all Perth & Kinross Council Car Parks and on-street parking for the foreseeable future.
Parking Permits for residents in Perth and Crieff
Due to the suspension of Parking Charges in all Perth & Kinross Council Car Parks and on-street parking for the foreseeable future, any current Resident Permit holder will have their permit extended for the full period parking charges are suspended. Once normal service is resumed you will receive notification to advise you what your new permit expiry date will be.
Penalty charge notice
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, please be advised that responses to Penalty Charge Notice appeals will likely take longer than normal. Please be assured that once you have sent in an appeal, the Penalty Charge Notice will be put on hold and will not progress until we have managed to respond to the appeal. We appreciate your patience at this time.
Blue Badge Scheme (Disabled person's parking badge)
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, please be advised that Blue Badge applications will likely take longer than normal to process. We appreciate your patience at this time.
If you have a Blue Badge which expires between 1 January 2020 and 30 September 2020 and have not yet been able to apply for, or haven't yet been awarded a new badge, you can continue to use your expired badge when parking in an on-street parking bay or in any Council operated car park. Please be aware that this change to the rules will not apply when parking in privately operated car parks.
