Community Council by-elections to be held in November 2020

Community Council by-elections for vacancies on Kinross, Coupar Angus, and Earn and District Community Councils will be held on Thursday 12 November 2020.

Both Kinross and Coupar Angus Community Councils have six vacancies. 

Earn and District Community Council is seeking to appoint 3 members for the Bridge of Earn and Dron sub-area, and one each for the Forgandenny, Forteviot, Path of Condie and Rhynd sub-areas.

If you live in any of these Community Council areas or sub-areas, and want to make a difference by representing your community, please get involved by standing for election. Anyone wishing to represent their community council must be at least 16 years old and be named on the electoral register for the Community Council area or sub-area they are standing for. A candidate's proposer and seconder must also be named on the electoral register and reside in the same community council area or sub-area.

To stand as a candidate a completed nomination form, together with a supporting 50 word statement, must be submitted to the Returning Officer at 2 High Street, Perth, PH1 5PH by 4pm on Thursday 15 October 2020.
