Vintage Wheels ready to roll into Perth

This weekend will be the Vintage Wheels Weekend in Perth City. We have two days of events on Saturday 3 June and Sunday 4 June 2023.

The primary event will take place on Saturday, June 3rd, and will feature a stationary exhibit of vintage cars along Tay Street in Perth.

On both Saturday, June 3rd, and Sunday, June 4th, 2023, there will be a chance to explore Morris Leslie's personal collection of classic cars by jumping onboard a vintage bus at Mill Street to whisk you to Perth Airport where the collection is stored. Entrance to the collection will be a donation to Cancer Research of £10.00 per adult (16+), £5.00 per child (5-15 years) or family entry of £25.00 (2 adults, up to 3 children). Under 5s are free.

Due to the nature of the premises and storage arrangements for the vehicles unfortunately it is not possible for wheelchair users or children in buggies to view the collection.

With such a diverse range of cars being displayed on Tay Street, some changes to normal arrangements should be expected to keep disruption to a minimum.

Road closures

Tay Street will be closed from the junction at Smeaton's Bridge, Tay Street to the junction at Queens Bridge. Alternative traffic management have been put in place to divert people around the city.

 Public transport and car parking

For spectators and visitors coming into Perth City Centre from further afield, Stagecoach Service 7B operates from the Broxden Park & Ride facility to South Street, a very short walk to the centre of the city.

Parking will be readily available within city centre car parks.  More information on  Parking is available on our website.
