The 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships Gran Fondo will take place in Perth and Kinross on August 4.
Perth will be the start and finish points for both the Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo road races at the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships taking place in Glasgow and across Scotland. A detailed map and timings of road closures is available for download on this page.
Competitors in the Gran Fondo road race will cover 160.3km through the Perthshire countryside which will see them tackle 1,663m of climbing. The Medio Fondo peloton will compete over an 85.7km route with 777m of climbing.
The inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships, taking place from 3 to 13 August, will include 13 UCI World Championships across different cycling disciplines.
The Gran Fondo road race is open to women aged 19 to 49 and men aged 19 to 59.
The Medio Fondo road race is open to women over 50 and men over 60.
