Outdoor pitches allocation season 23/24
Perth and Kinross Council Education and Children's Services and Live Active Leisure are now inviting community groups, sports clubs and individuals who are interested in placing block bookings for the outdoor Pitches at Perth Academy, Bertha Park and North Inch Community Campus to submit their applications for bookings between w/c 25th September 2023 and w/c 25th March 2024 inclusive.
The application deadline, for all pitches, is Friday 21st July 2023. No bookings will be confirmed in advance of this date and confirmation of your bookings will be sent out shortly after. We will endeavour to have all bookings confirmed by w/e 11th August 2023. Any bookings received after the deadline will still be considered but those received beforehand will be given priority.
How do I apply?
Please be aware that demand for the pitches is likely to be very high and last year we received applications from more than 20 different clubs / groups, most with multiple different squads. In addition, we again face the collective challenge of having 1 less synthetic pitch, as Perth High School continues to go through its rebuild. Whilst it is the intention of Perth and Kinross Council and Live Active Leisure to try and ensure a fair and reasonable allocation of the available pitches, this will rely on the continued support and flexibility of all clubs / groups.
To this end, we are advising that clubs / groups must ensure that ALL booking applications are submitted as one and coordinated by one point of contact from each club / group. Multiple or duplicate applications from different representatives of the same club / group may not be processed.
Booking requests can only be submitted by completing the outdoor pitches allocation for 2023/24 form. You should not attempt to make application for bookings through any other means such as the online portal or via e-mail.
What information do you need?
Before accessing the online form we suggest that you gather and have to hand, all of the following information from each of the squads / age groups within your Club/Group for whom you are requesting a booking:
- What days they want to train
- Preferred start time on each day
- Preferred finish time on each day
- Space required by each squad on each day i.e. 1/3 Pitch, 2/3 Pitch or Full Pitch
- Number of participants within each squad
- Any other information relevant to the specific squad's request.
