We have consulted extensively with the Pitlochry community to understand their priorities as we consider future use of our buildings in the town.
These priorities, embedded in the Pitlochry Community Action Plan, include the provision of good quality affordable housing and continued access to leisure and library spaces in the town.
While several proposals have been put forward to meet these aims and to maximise the use of buildings that serve residents of Pitlochry and the surrounding area, no decisions have yet been taken on our next steps.
The Council is currently considering options for its buildings in Pitlochry, including the possibility of creating a community campus at Pitlochry High School.
A report will be presented to Councillors in June, with recommendations and a strategic direction informed by the review of our assets in Pitlochry.
