Perth and Kinross continue to deliver another sensational summer filled with spectacular events for everyone to enjoy.

Summer kicked off with Perth's Classic Car weekend and there is an action-packed programme of events still to come.

Provost Xander McDade said: "The Classic Car Weekend earlier this month was a resounding success, with a fantastic turnout and delighting car enthusiasts and families alike under sunny skies in the heart of Perth. With the school holidays upon us, I'm delighted that families will once again have the opportunity to travel by free bus on 6 July to participate in a variety of activities across Perth and Kinross.

"I'm also excited that the Hairy Highland Coo herd is now here, inviting families and visitors to embark on the coo trail. This unique art trail offers an opportunity to explore our outstanding landmarks, uncover hidden gems while unlocking exciting new rewards.

"Additionally, the trail will be raising funds for Children's Hospices Across Scotland to support children and their families during challenging times. It's an honour to have our area support this initiative and I would encourage all to visit the Trail this summer."

Moreover, our local partners are gearing up to provide unforgettable experiences, from the highly popular GWCT Scottish Game Fair at Scone Palace to the vibrant 80s Rewind Scotland event. For the adventure-seekers, the Claymore CrossFit Energy Festival promises activities and challenges for all, including a colourful and messy fun run! Not to be missed are two exciting race days at Perth Racecourse, set to be a highlight of July's event calendar.

"I extend my warmest wishes for a super summer for everyone and encourage all to attend these events, which truly showcases the best of Perth and Kinross," said Provost McDade.
