Coronavirus: Business Support Fund
Grant support is available from the Scottish Government to help businesses deal with the impact of COVID-19. The purpose of these grants is to help protect jobs, prevent business closure and promote economic recovery.
It consists of:
- the Small Business Grant Fund
- the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant Fund
Eligible business ratepayers can apply for these grant funds up until 31 March 2021.
Business Support Fund - expanded
From 5 May 2020, the grant funding scheme has expanded eligibility from one grant per ratepayer to one grant per eligible property, and expands eligibility to include Retail, Hospitality and Leisure (RHL) properties previously ineligible for the Scheme generally due to their rateable values.
Applicants are required to submit separate applications for each individual eligible property.
This grant is being administered by Local Authorities on behalf of the Scottish Government.
