Elections for Community Councils are held every 3 years. Between this time local residents can petition for an election to establish or re-establish a Community Council, and by-elections may be held to fill vacancies.If you care about the area you live in and want to make a difference, then get involved by standing for your local Community Council.
Community Council elections
Elections for all Community Councils across Perth and Kinross will take place on Thursday 6 November 2025.
The nomination period is now open and will close at 4pm on Thursday 25 September 2025. If you are passionate about your local area and want to help shape your community, consider standing for election. To take part, simply complete and submit a nomination form.
