Public Transport Transformation Project

We carried out a public consultation from May to July 2025 to find out more about the public transport needs of residents throughout Perth & Kinross when it comes to local bus services.

We wanted to know how well passenger needs are being met by existing bus services and, how we can shape services for the future. The consultation was aimed at passengers who use, have used or would like to use local bus services.

We received a total of 896 responses to the consultation. Thank you to everyone who took the time to tell us your thoughts and views.

The results will be analysed and people will be given a further opportunity to comment on shaping local bus transport at a series of roadshows around Perth and Kinross in September.

Roadshow drop-in events

Members of the public are invited to come along to follow-up roadshow events in September and October 2025 to discuss bus transport in your community and in Perth and Kinross as a whole.

People can drop-in to hear feedback from the recent public consultation on bus services and can offer ideas and suggestions about how local bus services can be improved.
