With the urgent sewer repairs by Scottish Water now being underway and the subsequent road closure is in place, we have become aware of some issues:
Use of unsuitable local roads to avoid the designated diversion route
Excess speed by traffic throughout the diversion
We would therefore ask drivers, in the interests of public safety for local residents and all road users, to observe signed temporary speed limits and other temporary restrictions for the duration of the works.
