Due to delays in these works the date for completion of these works has been extended.
The works were scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, 24 December 2025 but this has now been extended until Friday, 30 January 2026. Details of the diversion are shown below:
Due to a road closure on the C408 Stewart Tower Road, Stagecoach Services 34/34A (evening and Sunday journeys only) will be unable to operate the normal route to Bankfoot.
During this time, these journeys will divert via Duchess Street, U38 Active Kids road and the A9 to then resume normal route in Bankfoot.
As the north bound bus stops in Stanley will not be served, all buses will loop around Stanley via Percy Street, Store Street and Mill Street prior to diverting via Duchess Street.
Passengers should board these journeys at the bus shelter at Stanley Cross during this time.
