Road Closure - A822 Bishops Bridge

Due to a bridge closure on A822, south of Muthill, Stagecoach Service 15A will be unable to operate its normal route from Monday, 24 November 2025 for 2 weeks. 

During this time Service 15A journeys from Perth will terminate in Crieff. 

A shuttle bus operated by Sweeney's Garage will be provided between Crieff - Muthill - Braco - Dunblane - Stirling in both directions. Passengers should board/alight the shuttle bus at Crieff High Street/Hill Street.  Passengers in Muthill should board/alight the shuttle bus at Sweeney's Garage office/War Memorial or on Drummond Street. The bus stops opposite Lintibert Road and at Pitkellony Street will not be served.

Passengers should note that the shuttle bus will operate at the same times as Service 15A would normally operate.

The road will be reopened on Friday, 28 November at 16:00 before being closed again at 08:00 on Monday, 01 December to complete the works. Service 15A journeys will operate as normal on a Friday (after 16:00) and on Saturday and Sunday.

Service 15A (Crieff High School) and Service 615 (St Johns Academy) school journeys will operate as normal.

Docherty's Midland Coaches Service 18 will be unable to operate its normal route during this time.  Service 18 buses will instead operate from Auchterarder via Tullibardine and Station Road, Muthill and similarly for journeys departing Crieff.  The A823 and the bus stops on Willoughby Street will not be served, passengers in Muthill should instead board/alight their bus at Drummond Street.
