Emergency Road Closure - B996 Cuthill Towers

From Wednesday, 14 January 2026 until the road reopens (expected to be Monday, 19 January 2026)

Due to emergency road closure on the B996 at Cuthill Towers travel between Milnathort - Glenfarg - Perth will be disrupted from Wednesday, 14 January 2026 for 5 days.

During these works Glenfarg Community Transport Group Service 55 will instead operate from Glenfarg Garage via Ladeside - Duncrievie Road - Duncrievie Drunzie and back on to its normal route. The bus stops at Cuthill Towers, Hilton View and Ladeside will not be served. Passengers at Hilton View should board an alight their bus from Wallace Park car park, Duncrievie Road. Passengers at Cuthill Towers should contact Glenfarg Community Transport Group at transport@glenfarg.org who will be able to assist with transport.

During these works Stagecoach Service 56 journeys that operate Perth - Glenfarg - Milnathort will not serve Glenfarg but will instead operate via the A912/Gateside. Service 56 journeys that only operate from Perth - Glenfarg and Glenfarg - Perth will operate as normal.

Stagecoach Service X56 will not serve Glenfarg/Bein Inn but will instead operate via the M90 between Milnathort and Bridge of Earn.
