Council housing new-build developments - Murrie Court and Roy Close, Methven
A development of 24 new Council homes was completed in Murrie Court and Roy Close, Methven, in November 2023.
7 three-bedroom and 17 two-bedroom homes for tenants with a range of housing needs.
Investment
A Scottish Government grant of £1.6m, plus investment of £2.4m from Perth & Kinross Council.
Builder
The homes were built by the Council's construction partner GS Brown.
Energy efficiency measures included
- Solar panels
- High quality insulation
- High levels of air tightness.
Safety features such as sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and electrical surge protection devices were also included as standard.
