We will be carrying out road patching works on the B935 from Kintail Cottages to Forgandenny Road, Bridge of Earn, scheduled to begin on Thursday 18 September 2025 and take approximately one week to complete.

Please note these works are weather dependent which may result in delays.

To carry out the works safely and efficiently, a weekday road closure will operate from 8.15am to 4.30pm, along with a suspension of on street loading and parking. A signed diversion will be in place via B935 - A912 - Perth - A989 - A93 - B9112 - B934 - B935 and vice versa, this is detailed on the location plan below which also shows the works area.

B935 Location Plan

Vehicle access to properties within the works area extents will be maintained when the works allow, and when it is safe to do so.  Traffic management operatives will be on site to assist with access requirements during the weekday working hours.  Pedestrian and emergency service vehicle access will always be maintained.

Before 8.15am and after 4.30pm on weekdays, access will be open and traffic management will be in place to allow traffic to drive slowly through the works at 20mph.  Access will be granted for the school bus journey in the morning and return in the afternoon.

On weekdays the No.17 bus service will run as normal before 8.15am and after 4.30pm.  During the closure hours, the bus will not serve Bridge of Earn, Forgandenny or Forteviot.  From Perth, the bus will operate via Perth Bus Station, York Place, Glasgow Road, the A9, Dunning, Aberuthven and Auchterarder.  From Auchterarder, the bus will operate from Auchterarder to Perth Bus Station via Aberuthven, Dunning,  the B934, the B9112, Necessity Brae, Glasgow Road, Caledonian Road, Kings Place, Princes Street and Canal Street.

Passengers should get on/off their bus at Canal Street or at Perth Bus Station. Service 17 will also serve the bus stop at AK Bell Library for journeys going to Dunning and Auchterarder. Bridge of Earn passengers travelling to or from Perth are advised to use an alternative bus service for these journeys.

A bookable transport service for residents in Forteviot and Forgandenny will be available. For further details, please email publictransport@pkc.gov.uk or call our customer service centre on 01738 475000.
