The Council is proposing to designate a Short-term Let Control Area for Highland Perthshire and the Northern part of Eastern Perthshire housing market areas, subject to Scottish Ministerial approval.
Following statutory public consultation last year, those results and the proposal were considered again at the Full Council meeting of 17 June 2026 resulting in agreement to submit the proposed designation to Scottish Ministers for their approval and we await their response. In the meantime, you can view the proposed STL Control Area map to see the extent of the intended designation.
