If you are moving out of the Perth & Kinross Council area, it is important that you advise us as soon as possible.
Persons in detention or prison
If a property has been left unoccupied because someone has been detained in a prison, hospital or other place, it may be exempt from council tax charge.
Where liable person is a student
Where the liable person of an unoccupied property is a student, you may be able to claim council tax exemption.
Person under 18 years of age
Where all residents of a property are under 18, you will be able to get a 100% exemption on your council tax bill.
