This Practitioner's Guide has been produced by Perth and Kinross Child Protection Committee (CPC). It provides clear practice guidance for all practitioners and managers working to support and protect children and families; particularly those who may be invited to attend at and to participate in a Child Protection Planning Meeting (CPPM).
Core Paths Plan
The Core Paths Plan for Perth and Kinross was adopted by the Council in January 2012 and revised in 2017. The Plan shows a system of paths, 2043km in total, which provide reasonable public access throughout Perth and Kinross.

Community planning
Community Planning is how public bodies work together, and with local communities to design and deliver better services that make a difference to people's lives.
Transport planning
The transport planning team is responsible for the strategic planning and development of the transport network for Perth and Kinross. This involves all modes of travel, such as the sustainable modes of walking and cycling as well as public transport and the private car and both freight and passenger transport. In short, the team ensures that Perth and Kinross keeps moving, ensuring that we can have a prosperous economy and a healthy, socially inclusive society with well educated and informed citizens.
