DescriptionRNIB Eye Clinic Support Service provides emotional and practical support for people with a sight condition, their family, friends and carers.  If you or someone who know has a sight condition and would like to find out more about the help available please contact our Eye Clinic Liaison Officer (ECLO) on the contact details below or in person at Ophthalmology Outpatients, Ninewells Hospital or Outpatients clinic, Perth Royal Infirmary.

Action on Hearing Loss: Hear to Help Service

Description

The Hear to Help service is for NHS hearing aid wearers and includes:

  • tubing, minor repairs, earmould cleaning and battery replacement
  • basic training for hearing aid users on maintenance and usage of their hearing aid
  • providing advice and support to enable people to make the most of their hearing aid
  • providing information on other equipment and services.

Deaf Hub: Deaf Links

Description

Deaf Links provides a wide range of activities and learning opportunities for Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deafblind people including an advocacy project for people who have a sensory loss.

They can arrange to visit you at home if you find it difficult to get to Tayside Deaf Hub.
